Sancerre Rouge

Les Baronnes

This Sancerre rouge is created from Pinot Noir vines growing on chalky-clay soils.

This wine with its characteristic connotations of red fruits (cherries, morellos, strawberries...) is subtly woody. On the palate, it reveals good roundness and a light, pleasant astringency (tannins from the grapes as well as the oak barrels) assuring good aging for 8 to 10 years.

Le Chêne Saint-Étienne

This red tile garnet has now some beautiful ruby-garnet tints. It develops aromas of ripe red and black fruits with spicy notes, bourbon vanilla and underwood caracteristic of aged Pinot Noirs.

On the palate, its ampleness and structure are surprising and the tannins are very well assimilated.
